Here we are again, another month, another big, barrel aged beer release!
We're very pleased to be releasing our much anticipated annual collaboration beer with Lark Distillery in Tasmania. The Barrel Exchange Project is one of Australian beer and whisky's most unique collaborations, now in its fifth year. It culminates in the creation of the Barrel Exchange Project whereby casks were emptied of the whisky and shipped directly across to the brewery and filled with an Imperial version of the Johnny Smoked Porter, to create the Wolf of the Willows Lark Barrel Aged Imp JSP V. Once the casks were emptied, they were returned to Lark Distillery in Tasmania, where they were filled with a hand selected single malt whisky to be released as Lark Distillery 'Wolf Release V' single malt whisky.
We're celebrating this milestone collaboration with a number of Melbourne events in the lead-up to its city-wide release and launch event on Friday 12th August at the Wolf of the Willows Taproom. Full event details and links below.
Join us for a very special Wolf of the Willows brewery experience, combining an in-depth brewery tour, limited-release back-vintage beer tasting, rare whiskey masterclass and Lark pop-up cellar door, with back-vintage beers and cellar release whisky's available to take home.
An exclusive and intimate dinner carefully curated by Aus Venue Co’s Executive Chef Telina Menzies.
Diners will be treated to 10 dishes expertly prepared, including Wagyu and salmon belly, through to salted chocolate marrow. Courses will be carefully paired with Wolf of the Willows beers and Lark Whisky.
This will be one hell of a culinary journey!
