The love of a delicious pastry is strong. The iconic Brownie Bomb Pastry Brown Ale from our collab with pals at Lumos Bakery has returned!
Brewed in collaboration with the legendary Lumos Bakery, this decadent beer is inspired by their cult-favourite Brownie Bomb, a croissant-meets-brownie hybrid that’s as indulgent as it sounds.
We started with a classic English Brown Ale style and focussed on promoting bready, pastry-like flavours with the help of freshly baked pastry offcuts courtesy of Lumos Bakery. We then added quality dark chocolate and lactose to the whirlpool vessel, before adding organic cacao nibs post fermentation.
The result? A pastry-inspired beer that’s full-bodied and smooth, not too sweet, but rich with chocolate brownie flavour, while still retaining the character of a traditional brown ale.

Malt: Pale, UK Crystal, Pale Chocolate, Honey Malt, Honey Malted Oats
