Inaugural Wolf Hospo Bowls Competition 2022
When: Monday 21st November 2022. Arrive at midday, sharp.
Where: Thornbury Bowls Club, address: 27 Ballantyne St, Thornbury VIC 3071
Prize: 5 x 50L kegs of the Lager for the competition winning venue and 5 x cases (24 x 355ml) of WotW choice for the competition winning venue's staff.
Eligibility: The customer agrees to have Wolf of the Willows Lager on tap continually for 12 months from the date of the competition.
Double or Nothing: Competition winner can choose to challenge Team Wolf to a one-off game, where they can go 'double or nothing' to win extra kegs and cases (to a max of 3 kegs and 3 cases). If the competition winner declines the offer, the next placed team can take up the option to play, and so on.
- Pairs format, 5 end games each round.
- Minimum 16 venues entry, max 32. Knock-out format.
- Venue Teams can rotate playing pairs each round but not during a game.
- Strictly no cheating, including 'ring ins'. That is, each player must be currently employed and working at the venues for a minimum of two shifts per week for a minimum of three months prior to to the competition date. If a team is found to have breached this then they immediately forfeit, including any prizes that have been won. If the prizes have bene delivered then they will be invoiced for at standard prices.
