Taking inspiration from the classic whisky sour cocktail, we brewed up a strong sour blonde ale and barrel aged it in re-used Lark Whisky barrels. Smoke malt, lactose, fresh lemon juice, barrel aging and nitro make up the many elements that make the whiskey sour cocktail so popular. So expect sour lemon up front with distinct notes of whisky and oak, subtle smokiness, and hints of vanilla and molasses.
