FAQ
Can we book?
Yes! Bookings are limited to tables of 6-12 guests per booking, including children +1 year of age. Bookings are up to 2 hour sessions. Tables will maintain a 1.5m distance from other tables to adhere to the 1 person per 4sqm restriction. Please write any request, eg indoor or outdoor table, baby seat required, etc in the ‘notes’ section when confirming your booking and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Are you taking walk-ins?
Now that we have larger capacity due to COVID restrictions easing, we are no longer taking bookings for groups smaller than 6 as we have plenty of room for walk-in opportunities.
Can I book for longer than 2 hours?
Yes, however, the only way this is possible is to book two sittings/bookings back to back. We cannot guarantee availability.
What are your Taproom trading hours?
Thursday 4pm – 10pm
Friday and Saturday 12pm – 10pm
Sunday 12pm – 6pm
Are you offering food?
Yes we have an onsite foodtruck called VanGo, offering a range of Asian - fusion inspired dishes, from mud crab burgers to pulled pork tacos. The perfect beer and food combo.
How do I book and is there a fee?
Please book through our bookings system via Now Book It. There is a $25 pre-authorisation per guest required which is only debited in the case of a no show.
How do I get to the Taproom on Public Transport?
If you are coming via train, we are closest to the Mentone Train Station. From Mentone Train Station, we suggest jumping on a bus no. 811 'Dandenong - Brighton'. It is just a short 5-10min bus ride till you get to the 'De Havilland Rd/Lower Dandenong' bus stop. From here, it is just a 3 min walk down De Havilland Road to the Taproom. Next instruction? Sit down and savour a cold beer.

Are you taking functions?
Due to the COVID restrictions easing, we are now able to take larger function bookings of up to 50pp, pending availability. Please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for any queries around functions and functions packages.
What is the dress code?
We love a good dress up, just make sure you have adhere to the ‘no shirt, no bare feet = no entry’ logic. Little tip, thongs don't stop chunks of glass, so keep that in mind when choosing your brewery outfit.
Are children welcome?
Yes! Please keep in mind children are required by the state government guidelines to be counted towards the maximum 10 guests in your booking. We ask all parents to supervise their children, noting that due to current COVID restrictions ALL patrons, including children, must be seated during their time at the Taproom. Please also ensure their children have shoes on at all times due to the possibility of broken glass etc.
How far can I book into the future?
At the moment our bookings are open indefinitely.
Will you be hosting brewery tours?
No we cannot host brewery tours at this time due to current restrictions. We hope to do this in the not so distant future.
How do I cancel my booking?

Will my personal details be taken?
When you arrive at the Wolf Taproom you will be greeted by a host who will ask you to scan the QR code at the door. In accordance with Victorian State Government requirements, we kindly ask you enter your details: Name and phone number, to help us in the quick response to contact tracing in case there is a COVID outbreak.
Do I have to wear a mask?
Yes. Staff will be wearing a fitted masks at all times, and customers are also kindly requested to wear a mask indoors only, unless consuming food and drink, or if you have a medical reason not to wear them.
How do I order food and drink?
All food and drink orders will be made available via Mr Yum, an online ordering platform you can use via your smart phone. Scan the QR code and the menu will appear. Food can be ordered in groups or by each individual. All food and drinks will be delivered to your table. Our liquor licence requires that food is served in conjunction with drinks and only to persons aged +18 and over.
What about the weather?
If you have booked a table, you will be seated indoors, unless you have made a request to be seated outdoors. Most of our outdoor tables (covered by large umbrellas) are available for walk-ins only. If you are seated outside and it rains, we will try our best to move you indoors if we have tables available. As always, we will do our absolute best to ensure you have a great experience.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes! Due to food health and safety, dogs are accommodated, but are not allowed to enter the indoor area of the venue and must be supervised at all times. Please make a note of this when booking your table into the comments area of the bookings site and we will try our best to accommodate your table that suits dog owners best. We absolutely LOVE dawgs, but we do reserve the right to ask you to remove your faithful hound if they are creating a disturbance for other patrons.
Can Wolf of the Willows refuse entry?
Management reserves the right to refuse service and entry in accordance with Wolf of the Willows policies and protocols and in accordance with the Liquor Control reform act 1998.
